Cotillion originated in 19th-century France as a traditional dance where young ladies were presented to society; also known as a debutante. It's origins evolved and transformed into a class, workshop of sorts for school aged girls and boys to learn traditional dance, broaden their social interactions, hone their manners and learn new etiquette skills.
Our Cotillion is engaging, charming and fun! Your child will shine while learning how to work the room and enhance their social skills. They'll learn social graces and formal dance with others in their age group. In addition to participating in Cotillion, your child will hone their philanthropic spirit by engaging in a service activity of helping others. These Cotillion experiences will create a lifetime of memories and friendships. Below is our tentative schedule for the 2017-2018 season and is subject to change.
Registration is a first come, first served bases on paid tuition. Full tuition is due August 31, 2017 and parents may choose to pay the full tuition during pre-registration (May 31st to August 1st) and receive a 10% discount or pay in 3 installments. Class size is limited, however an equal number of boys and girls is required in order for the Cotillion lessons to be adequately taught. Full participation in all lessons is highly recommended, as rescheduling is not permitted. A 25% tuition discount is offered to families with multiple children and only for the second child. A strict dress code is mandatory.
Scholarship opportunities are available - details available May 2017.
