Tactful Teens Etiquette Series (Ages 15-17)

Tactful Teens™ is the perfect 3 session etiquette series for teens who may be social butterflies or a bit more reserved than others. They'll explore the fundamentals of etiquette in real life scenarios that are fun and relative to their daily experiences. Each lesson will help pave the way in preparing your teen to build a positive rapport that commands respect and demonstrates a good moral character. Each session meets for 2.5 hours. Below is our current itinerary of lessons for the Series:
Session 1 (11:30a-1:30p) - Greetings & Introductions; Social Media Etiquette; Character Building
Session 2 (11:30a-1:30p)- Keeping Kempt; Interviewing Skills; Communication Etiquette
Session 3 (4p-6p)- Dining Etiquette & Graduation

Teen Dining Etiquette Lesson - 3 courses (Ages 15-17)
One of our most popular etiquette lessons at Mind Your Manners Etiquette School! Dining is a social event and normally shared with family and friends, so why not have your child brush up on their dining chops or have them experience a lesson for the first time. We guarantee you won't be disappointed!
During this 2 hour lesson, your child will learn the basics of dining etiquette. The first hour will consist of learning the correct place setting, soup etiquette, 2 dining styles, how to correctly pass around the table, bread service, conversations at the dining table, how to excuse oneself from the table, menu etiquette and more. In the final hour, your child will put those skills to "TEST" and order a 3 course meal while remembering to use the skills learned in the first hour. Poise, Confidence, Greetings & Introductions (ages 15-17)
This pop-up lesson is a great introduction to learning how confidence can be the catalyst to overcoming shyness and fears of meeting new people. Childhood is all about social engagement, but one must first feel comfortable before engaging. Once your child learns how to gain confidence, next they'll learn how to properly greet and introduce others. This introductory lesson will be conducted in an hour and a half segment and within age appropriate groups. We look forward to hosting your child or teen during an upcoming lesson. Friendship Etiquette & Communication Skills (ages 15-17)
Manners are a teen's best friend, especially when making someone's acquaintance. This pop-up lesson is a great introduction to learning how to be a good friend and ending a not-so-great friendship amicably. In addition, your child will begin honing their communication skills with a fun skit. After engaging in our introductory lesson, your child will feel confident in relationship building and using their voice. VIRTUAL - Social Media & Image Etiquette & Keeping Kempt (ages 15-17)
We'll explore how impressionable social media can be on one's conduct and image and help them to discern the correct behaviors when socializing on social media and how the right image will be an asset to them in the future. Also at this age, their personal appearance is important and weighs heavy on their self-confidence. Our goal is to help bridge any misconceptions regarding social media and help them develop positive social media behaviors and create a stand-out character that will follow them through adolescence. Afternoon Tea Etiquette Experience

One of our most favorite etiquette lessons here at Mind Your Manners Etiquette School! Tea time is traditionally enjoyed in between meals and as a means to get together with friends. Tea can be served with small finger foods such as scones and cucumber sandwiches or with heavier delicacies, such as meats and cheeses. Our tea etiquette lesson is great for teaching children how to hold conversations in small groups and demonstrating poise in social settings. This is the perfect occasion to wear your best head dress and lace gloves!
During the hour and half lesson, your child will learn the basics of tea etiquette and service. Various finger foods will be served along with their choice of tea.
